After graduating in Engineering Science from Cambridge University, Andy enjoyed a 35-year international career with Shell living in seven countries. During his last 7 years at Shell, he served on the Executive Committee as Upstream Director.
After leaving Shell, Andy took on a portfolio of roles including Vice Chairman of SBM, Senior Advisor to McKinsey and Advisor to ZeroAvia.
In 2021 and 2022, Andy was CEO and Vice Chairman of Galp, a Portuguese Integrated Energy Company, where he focused on the transformation of the company to thrive through the energy transition.
Andy joined the Board of Ørsted and also the Energy Institute in 2023. In November 2023 he served for 5 months as Interim COO Ørsted, to help the company recover after a number of high profile write offs. He is now Vice Chair Ørsted and was appointed President of the Energy Institute in July 2024.
Andy is married with 4 children and 4 grandchildren and enjoys golf, padel, skiing and hiking. He was awarded an OBE in 2012.

NICK GIANNAKAKIS holds a degree in Physics, a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Systems Management and Administration and is a graduate of the International Institute for Management Development – IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland). Nick has 15 years of international experience in the positions of Director and General Manager of Informatics in distinguished Multinational Clubs. Nick was awarded as one of the top 100 Chief Information Officers for 2019, 2020, 2021. Before arriving at Motor Oil Nick worked as CTO and IT executive to globally distinguished brands such as British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola HBC, Richemont Int’l (Cartier, Montblanc, Van Cleef & Arpels, Piaget, SAP etc.
Alessandro Alodi

Alessandro Allodi is a senior strategy thinker and leader, operating in the area of management of digital information assets, with over 27 years of experience in Oil & Gas sector. He has a Master Degree in Theoretical Computer Science along with a PhD in Computational Linguistics. He is currently Chief Data Officer (CDO) for Capital Projects and Engineering at Shell where he is responsible for data & digital strategies, implementation roadmaps, governance and transformational change aiming at making the right decisions at the right time of the opportunity realization to ensure greatest value from data during project delivery and after handover to the asset. He also believes that, contrary to popular belief, digital transformation is less about technology and more about people: ” If we do not change how people work and behave, no transformation will happen”

Prashant Soni has over 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas sector covering both technical and commercial aspect among other business strategy development and key customer management. He has a Master of Technology degree in ‘Offshore Technology’ along with a PhD in ‘Hydrodynamics of Slender structures’. He has held several management positions in the past and at present contributing to the technology agenda of the company. Thereby assisting in accelerating innovation efforts at Aker BP.
