Nina Brattetaule is the Director of Digitalization and IT in Archer, a global oil services company with a heritage that stretches back over 40 years. With her 20 years of experience managing and guiding businesses through digital transformation journeys, she is now dedicated to help drive the required changes within the O&G industry enabled by the availability and quality of data.
Originally a developer she soon found her true calling when her manager was curious enough to ask if she didn’t see herself better suited as a project manager. Taking a leap of faith and changing the direction early on she has had the opportunity to work with a broad specter of clients across the O&G value chain, from Operators to vendors, and industry organizations.
The secret to succeed with business transformation through digitalization enabling efficiency and quality through the availability of data where you are, when you need it (yes it`s Archer`s digital vision) – is People, Processes and Technology. Enabling a cross-functional collaborating environment across 40 locations globally and several different business domains in Archer is now her mission.
Adrian Blanck
Chief Digitalization Officer
Adrian is an international expert in digital strategy, organizational performance and transformation, digital innovation and business analytics. Adrian has a value creation track record of 30 years with Aramco, Total, Elf and Shell in a variety of management roles requiring both technical, commercial and financial expertise, as well as in consultant and board-level advisory roles in Europe and MENA with Accenture. Mr. Blanck specializes in taking complex briefs from stakeholders, formulate study hypothesis and build robust governance frameworks, teams, processes and technology to deliver measurable business benefits. He has a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, an MBA with focus on Strategy and Finance from INSEAD and a Doctoral Degree (DBA) from the University of Manchester, where he focused on digitalization-leveraged decision making.
During his last 10 years with Aramco, Adrian has advised the CEOs of several Aramco joint ventures and subsidiaries (Petro Rabigh, Sadara and Luberef) on key organizational issues related to digital transformation, operational excellence, performance management and optimization. Adrian is a Chartered Engineer and Board Management Consultant and holds certifications in Balanced Scorecard Strategy Definition and Implementation, KPI Management, Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance, Project Management and Data Management.
Robert Kehoe
Head of Strategic Change
Rob is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and is based in Aberdeenshire, UK. Rob is a Graduate of the University of Sheffield having spent one ERASMUS year at INSA de Lyon, France, he is committed to making long lasting change and innovation in the energy industry by placing people as the core value to his approach to leadership, this has been developed by leading teams in diverse operating environments and business streams.
As Head of Strategic Change for the Central North Sea Asset in the UK he is tasked to deliver significant strategic, planning, operational and organisational recommendations to give line of sight to the long-term future of the asset .
Before Rob’s current role he was Deputy Field Operations Manager and Production Site Support Leader for a Mature Asset Group leading a team to deliver safe cost-effective production whilst maintaining integrity and environmental targets he has experience as an Offshore Installation Manager as well as Production Support for an LNG terminal during Pre-OPs, Start-Up, and 1st years of production with a strong focus on team development.
Stefan Hoppe
President and Executive Director
Stefan Hoppe is the OPC Foundation President and Executive Director since Nov 2018. Since begin 2015 he coordinated as Vice President the worldwide OPC expansion into the Internet of Things & Industrie4.0.
Stefan has been the President of the OPC Europe organization since 2010 being the catalyst for initiating liaisons with other industrial consortiums that has resulted in OPC working groups developing companion specifications for the organizations respective information models – e.g. in 2008 he initiated and chaired the PLCopen OPC UA Companion working group which results are adopted in process industries and discrete manufacturing by multiple international well-known vendors.
Stefan Hoppe studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany. In parallel, he worked on automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) at Fraunhofer Institut IML, Dortmund.
Since 1995 he has worked for BECKHOFF Automation, starting as a software developer later as a lead Product Manager with focus on PC based Automation, connectivity and embedded software products.

Ravi is a product marketing and management leader with extensive experience delivering high-quality products and services that have generated revenues and cost savings of over $10B for companies such as Motorola, GE, Bosch, Weir and Parker Hannifin. His expertise spans industries such as Mining, O&G, Industrial Automation, Automotive, Mobile Devices, Enterprise communications, Automotive, Fleet Management and Industrial Motion Management. He is an expert in Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Data Security, Cloud Platforms, SaaS/PaaS, and Agile Methodologies. At HiveMQ, Ravi is in charge of evangelizing, enabling sales of the HiveMQ solution amongst Manufacturing and Industrial Automation customers.
Luiz Eduardo
Upstream Technical Support Manager
Luiz Eduardo has over 20 years of experience working in the shipbuilding and oil and gas industries. He has held positions such as Coatings Technical Manager, Commissioning Engineer, Process Engineer, Operations Manager, Head of Fluid Laboratory Services, and Upstream Efficiency and Reliability Coordinator. His primary areas of expertise are O&G processing, water treatment, environmental control, metrology, and digitization in the O&G business.
He is graduated in chemical engineering and business administration, with a certificate in O&G process engineering and an MBA in Business Analytics and Big Data.
Luiz Eduardo currently works for PETROBRAS as the Upstream Technical Support Manager, where he is in charge of the digitization and optimization of O&G production operations, analysis and forecasting of operational risks and efficiencies, operational excellence, technical support for process engineering and fluid metering for O&G.
Luiz Eduardo is enthusiastic about disruptive technology as a means for promoting true organizational cultural changes. Merijn Backx has 26+ years of Shell experience delivering business outcomes that include engineering document management, finance analytics, sales and marketing insights, accounting efficiencies, procurement optimization, maintenance reliability, transforming & automating business processes and industry collaboration and ecosystems.
This track record has been established through a wide variety of IT application development, architecture, project management, operations and business interface assignments in Rotterdam, London, Kuala Lumpur, Houston and The Hague.
In his last role as VP of Enterprise IDT Strategy and Planning, he was accountable for developing Shell’s Enterprise IT Strategy, Planning, Competencies and Operating Model. He worked on Shell’s digitalisation strategy to help enable the net zero energy systems of the future.
Merijn is now IDT General Manager for Safety & Environment, Asset and Technology. He leads the digital transformation required to enable the asset of the future using technologies like digital twin, predictive maintenance and citizen development.

Prior to joining Dragos he led a team of threat intelligence analysts at Microsoft, focused on tracking groups from Eastern Europe and Russia. As Technical Director in the Dragos Intel Team, he sets strategic requirements for the systems and data acquisition required to fuel a top-tier Threat Intelligence cell, as well as delivering tactical solutions to surface findings through automation and enable Hunters to find threats more efficiently across huge volumes of data.

Ionut Enescu

An engineer by profession, Ionut graduated as valedictorian from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the “Politehnica” University Bucharest in 2011. Since then, Ionut has worked in the oil & gas industry under various operational and management positions focusing on surface equipment maintenance. Currently, Ionut leads the 4.0 integration department within Dietsmann, one of the leading contractors for Operations & Maintenance in the energy industry. His work focuses on leveraging the operational experience accumulated over the years into developing digital solutions aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of O&M services.
Zain Isma Mohamed Lazim

Zain is a graduate of La Trobe University (Melbourne, Australia) in 1998 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) with Honors (Majoring in Communication Engineering). He began an internship and subsequently rose to the role of Sr. Design Engineer for Video products (VHS, DVD, BluRay) within ten years of service at Sony EMCS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He had a short one-year stint as a call center technical support agent at DirecTV before pursuing a Master of Applied Science (ICT: Telecommunications Technology) at the University of Denver, Colorado, USA, where he graduated in 2013. Shortly after, he joined MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia’s national applied research and development center under the Ministry of Science, Technology And Innovation, from 2013 to 2015, developing wireless sensor networks and IoT products. After completing the contracted duration at MIMOS, he had the opportunity to enhance further and build his knowledge of IoT while working at SHRDC, a human resource development training center focusing on practical hands-on training programs. He was entrusted to spearhead the development of IoT training program content at SHRDC in 2017 in collaboration with the Swiss Smart Factory research institute in Biel, Switzerland. By the time he joined Petronas in 2020, He had successfully contributed to and developed the setting up of the IoT lab (with industrial partners OMRON, Siemens, Balluff, and Hilscher), implementing Node-Red and protocols like MQTT, OPC-UA, and IO-Link, at SHRDC. He has also had the opportunity to complete multiple cohorts of hands-on IoT program trainees by 2020 at SHRDC.
His time since joining Petronas in 2020 has been focused on developing the IoT Reference Architecture while also developing and operationalizing a centralized IoT data platform for the Oil & Gas business use case. In 2022, a centralized real-time IoT data platform, which is also known as the Enterprise IoT Hub (EIH), first iteration was piloted and tested to enable secure access to real-time/near real-time IoT data between any location that has internet accessibility.

Christian Møller is Chief Product Officer of Aize, an industrial software company established by Aker in 2020. An industry veteran with deep expertise in scaling fast-growing technology companies, Møller joined Aize in August 2021 from the position of Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Kongsberg Digital where he led the development of Kongsberg’s Digital Twin and Digital platform and Services. He has previously worked at Microsoft’s research department on the development of a number of products, as well as on the assessment of new technology and technology companies. Møller has doctorate degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Laboratory and University of Cambridge in 3D technology, as well as a Master’s degree in optics, electronics and computer engineering from Cambridge.
