Amit Kar has 20 years’ experience exploiting the power of Digitalization to tackle the management and operational challenges of industry. By translating technology into value, Amit illuminates the business impact of Digitalization. He marries a visionary understanding of technology trends with a practical approach, helping customers develop strategies to capture value today while laying out a roadmap for the future. His global industrial experience has emphasized the energy sector and includes some of the world’s most challenging projects and operational environments, from West Africa to the Middle East and SE Asia. He also has experience in technology start-ups, from early internet communities to digital content delivery and fintech. Amit obtained a BSc in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from New York Institute of Technology. He joined Schneider Electric from AVEVA in early 2022. Nick Anstee

Nick Anstee is a specialist in predictive maintenance and optimizing asset performance with over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as Head of Digital Solutions at KBR, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital solutions for the oil and gas industry. Previously, he held senior roles in field enablement and strategic positioning at Baker Hughes and GE. Anstee helped drive the adoption of reliability-centered maintenance and risk-based techniques in oil and gas starting in the 1990s. He now works on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve data management, reduce unplanned downtime, conserve energy, and decrease emissions across the asset life cycle.

Sibel has a degree in Industrial Engineering, MSc. and since 2022 has been working in Socar Türkiye as a senior digital transformation specialist. She has held positions before such as SAP Master Data Expert, Supply Chain MRP Controller, RPA Development Team Lead. Sibel is responsible for supervising digital project team as a product owner, developing the overall digital transformation strategy and roadmaps for the full lifecycle of technical implementation and new technology initiatives using the company’s exclusive methodology and tools, including technical implementations, digitization, and emerging technologies. Also, some of her responsibilities are understanding solutions that will take these criteria into account by converting business needs into the corresponding technical requirements and recognizing the full scope of the client’s technical environment and use of analytics and models to a business problem in Socar Türkiye.

He has a Master Degree in Theoretical Computer Science along with a PhD in Computational Linguistics. He is currently Chief Data Officer (CDO) for Capital Projects and Engineering at Shell where he is responsible for data & digital strategies, implementation roadmaps, governance and transformational change aiming at making the right decisions at the right time of the opportunity realization to ensure greatest value from data during project delivery and after handover to the asset. He also believes that, contrary to popular belief, digital transformation is less about technology and more about people: ” If we do not change how people work and behave, no transformation will happen”

Dennis Rohe

Dennis Rohe is the European Economic Engineer at Imubit. In this role, he works closely with clients and prospects in a collaborative process to help find the right match between optimization opportunities in their plant and Imubit’s Closed Loop Neural Network optimization technology. As part of the Economic Engineering team, Dennis works to ensure and demonstrate value delivery of Imubit’s existing optimization solutions during and after commissioning.
Prior to Imubit, Dennis worked at BP in refining and trading mainly within production planning, with experience in process engineering and operations. Dennis is a certified chemical worker and received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from Hochschule Niederrhein.

In addition to bringing the best of 5G innovation to industry and the public sector, Catherine’s work on the board of the UK5G and the Kay Mason Foundation, which funds high school scholarships for impoverished children in South Africa, has given her a renewed passion for using 5G to help to bridge the digital divide that exists in the world today.

Radoslaw Gospos holds a PhD in chemical engineering from Gdansk University of Technology in Poland. Radoslaw has over 20 years of hands-on experience in refining industry. He joined ORLEN in 2000 and worked in different positions, currently he is on a position of Expert at ORLEN, Strategic Research and Development Projects Department. He is also English/Polish technical translator in the field of chemical industry, law and economics certified by Polish Federation of Engineering Association. Radoslaw was also a speaker at major refining and petrochemical events such as European Refining Technology Conference (ERTC), 9th Annual Global Refining & Petrochemical Summit, 7th Global Refining Summit and others. He is very passionate about modern technology in the refining industry especially regarding innovating R&D projects, energy efficiency and process optimization.

With a career spanning roles at renowned companies such as DONG Energy, Shell Oil Company, BG Group, and Schlumberger, Stephen has excelled in technical and management positions. He brings expertise in exploration, development, reservoir management, and G&G coordination. Stephen holds an MBA from IE Business School, earned in 2011.

Diogo has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a master’s degree in communication networks, both from Fluminense Federal University, at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He works at Petrobras for 17 years, having led the development and implementation of several IT and Telecommunications projects for Upstream and Downstream areas, in Brazil and abroad. Also, he led the operation and maintenance team that supports IT systems for Industrial Automation.
Diogo is currently the IT Manager of Business Partner and software development areas for Midstream and the head of the Center of Excellence of Industrial IoT at Petrobras.

With an academic background in Applied Geophysics, Mahad has experience working in subsurface domains such as Seismic Imaging Geophysics at CGG as well as Exploration Geophysics at Wintershall Dea. Mahad currently is working in Wintershall Dea Norge AS on innovative Data Science and Artificial Intelligence projects set up for optimization and automation of value generative subsurface workflows. His key interests lie in the subfields of Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision, and his most recent projects focus on Generative AI implementations for multiple subsurface use cases.
